Chiffon Clumber Spaniels

Welcome

Chiffon Clumbers is a small kennel located in Dexter, Iowa, thirty miles west of Des Moines.  Our priority is temperament and soundness, along with enjoying the fun of showing and meeting new friends and old.

We previously raised Labrador Retrievers under the Coalcreek prefix for over 15 years.  In 1988 Coalcreek's Gimme a Break was the number one lab in the United States.  Coalcreek also produced the number one Stud Dog and Brood Bitch two years in a row.
My husband Gregg and I started in Clumbers in 2008 with AKC Grand Champion Casmir Dear Prudence "Purdy".  Purdy's sire Ch Breakaway Let's Party won best Veteran Dog in 2009 at the Clumber Spaniel Club of America Nationals, and her dam Ch Casmir Moonlight and Roses won Brood Bitch in 2006.

Gregg and I recently retired, bought a fifth wheel, and plan on enjoying retirement by traveling a bit in the spring and summer, so watch for us at the dog shows!

We are VERY proud of our first litter our GGH Casmir Dear Prudence "Purdy" and CH Chequamegon Ridge Runner "Timber".  Abbey, Sadie, Johnny, Desmond, & Thunder have all completed their AKC Championships and several of the kids have had multiple group placements.   GCH CH Chiffon Abbey Road was recently awarded Best of Opposite Sex and Best Bred by Clumber Exhibitor at the AKC National Eukanuba Championship 2013, and Abbey's brother GCH CH Chiffon Revolution "Thunder" was awarded the First Award of Merit at Eukanba.
